This song actually came about as I have begun to simplify my life and as a sort of answer to the idealism of the music I love from the 60′s, 70′s.... the Punk/Hardcore movement right up to today.... the answer has always been the same I guess.... It is embarrassingly simple! Sonically I was going for the Smiths meets Bad Brains...... Not saying I hit it, that was just the idea.....
