This Waltz started as a challenge to myself to leave the 4/4 RocknRoll
comfort zone and see if I could write 3/4 Waltz time without changing
the musical direction and instrumentation that had come to define ¡Life Like Fire! Something informed by say Hank Williams, but definitely NOT country. It has become a fave, so it is one of the first released!
As I gaze across this lonely dance floor....
Just as the band finds it′s tune....
My eyes dash about, for the nearest way out....
and I′m looking at you....
and the first words they can′t come too soon.
Then the singer chimes in about love about sin and all of the mistakes that he′s made....
Your hand brushes mine and that look in your eyes,

There′s poetry in our every movement,
